Kellie Early is the Chief Strategy Officer for the National Conference of Bar Examiners and assists the President and Board of Trustees with developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining NCBE’s strategic priorities to achieve its long-term goals and fulfill its mission. Kellie served as the project director for NCBE’s Testing Task Force study. She is the staff lead for the Strategy, Coordination, and Outreach implementation workgroup. Prior to joining NCBE in June 2010, she was the executive director of the Missouri Board of Law Examiners for more than 10 years. Before entering the field of bar admissions, Early was the Director of Continuing Legal Education at the University of Missouri–Columbia School of Law, where she also taught legal research and writing as an adjunct professor. Prior to that, she was in private practice with law firms in St. Louis and Los Angeles for approximately seven years. She holds a BA in Business Administration and a JD from the University of Missouri–Columbia.
